Opera Mini for iPhone Finally Approved by Apple

OSLO - Apple finally agreed to Opera Mini for iPhone mobile phone to be displayed in the App Store. Previously, Opera had worried that the application is not acceptable because so far Apple prohibits applications browser or other applications that are already available by default on the iPhone and iPod Touch.

In fact, to the point that Opera browser makes the counter on his Web site to record how long Opera Mini will be approved by Apple. Prototype Opera Mini for iPhone was first introduced at Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona, Spain, and was registered to the App Store on March 23, 2010. Opera Mini finally pass Apple filter on April 12, 2010 after more than 20 days since registration. Further applications will be available in the App Store beginning today and can be used freely.

Although worried, Opera Mini browser optimistic that Opera Mini for iPhone smart phone will be accepted by Apple. Because, technically it does not violate SDK (software development kit) provided by Apple. When used for accessing the internet, Opera Mini does not run the process on the iPhone device provides, but the give the commands process on the Opera server.

Opera server will perform all server processes and sends the requested data with high compression. Opera Mini is claimed capable of compressing data up to 90 percent, so promising cost savings and experience faster internet access for iPhone smart phone users
